BIA employs bio impedence as the measuring theory used to find out the percentage of fat free mass i.e. ( body liquid and electrolyte ) plus fat mass ( fat does not contain any water ) in body tissues, impedance is a resistance, in which the non conductor is involved.

The skin analyzer is not used just to analyze skin moisture, but also monitors the softness and oil levels.
